Project Update: One Nine Elms

We’re excited to share an update on our latest project at One Nine Elms. As one of the key sub-contractors to Multiplex for this iconic development by R&F Properties in London, Chiltern Contracts is playing a key role in the fit-out of the bathroom areas from Level 3 to Level 19 at the River Tower.

Our team is responsible for a range of critical tasks, from metal cantilever installation for structural support to screeding and waterproofing of the bathroom areas. And of course, the finishing touch - a high-end stone and porcelain finish that adds a touch of luxury to these magnificent spaces. We have demonstrated remarkable time efficiency in this project, with an ambitious time frame of 10 weeks. Our approach to accelerating the process included deploying up to 60 installers during the peak periods.

With an all-encompassing scope, our involvement in this prestigious project sums up to a tidy £10m in value. It's a testament to the scale and significance of the work we're delivering.

Upon completion, One Nine Elms will boast the tallest residential towers in Europe, with a 56-storey City Tower and a separate 42-storey River Tower linked by a glazed bridge, offering breathtaking views of London across the River Thames. With over 730,000 sq ft of residential apartments, 267,000 sq ft of hotel accommodation, and retail outlets, this development is set to become an iconic landmark in the city.
