Clayton Hotel - Case Study

Formerly the Tamburlaine Hotel, the hotel is located in Cambridge and was recently renamed Clayton Hotel. Chiltern Contracts were awarded part of the £50 million project from Irish hotel group O’Callaghans to tile various residential and communal areas. With the focus on a traditional-yet-contemporary art deco design, we were required to source and install completely bespoke mosaic tiles, requiring close coordination with our supply chain partners in order to deliver on the client's vision.

The Telegraph noted the "spectacular marble-top horse-shoe bar" and that the project was "sufficiently stylish to win over design snobs, while maintaining just the right level of quirk for corporate guests".
